I couldn't reproduce the lintian errors in the issue, @olivierlemasle can you confirm that this fixes your issue?

@amrbashir It was not really my issue, but the bug report I wrote from part of #7074 😉

Anyway, I've just tested with umask 002, and the issue is fixed.
