• HDMI
• Touchpad + Gestures (I2C)
• Native function keys (Keyboard backlit, volume, etc.)
• Brightness + Brightness Keys
• Small overall performance drop (see Performance)

What doesn't work

• Wifi (built-in card is not supported)
• Audio over HDMI

Not tested

I simply don't use or don't care about this stuff.

Challenges

I want to post my notes from this build, for anyone struggling to get macOS running on their Acer A515-44.

• You must use the AMD version of VoodooI2C in order to make the touchpad work. Also add -vi2c-force-polling to boot-args.

• Remove VoodooPS2Mouse.kext and VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext from VoodooPS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/

• The codec is a Realtek ALC256 - here are the possible layout id's if for some reason alcid=5 does not work for you.
