Problem description

I get errors when running Steam on Box64 on Ubuntu with PRoot. Box64 developer ptitseb says it's due to /data/src/tier0/threadtools.cpp 1974 Assertion Failed: semaphore creation failed Function not implemented. He means that this system call is not implemented in Termux. ptitSeb/box86#699 (comment)

Steps to reproduce the behavior.

Compile and install Box64 and Box86, use the x86 bash of box, use the install_steam.sh, then try Box64 steam

What is the expected behavior?

Steam works.

System information

  • Termux application version: 0.118
  • Android OS version: 11
  • Device model: Galaxy A12

Try passing flag --sysvipc to proot.
