Adds 2 new tadpole models updating: to make grief poles less griefy #13515
Conversation
Hey this is my first time dabbling in simple coding and mapping. This adds a bar tad, and the combat tad each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Wastes of space.
how does the long one even fit into the hangar |
It does unless my math is off it should just barely fit. Last i checked 12 tiles long. If it doesn't fit i may need to expand Tad's pad or shorten it. |
Not sure more grief tads are needed |
broadsiding tad looks fun |
added that said tad has floodlight mounting points
THE TRIPLE HSG/DB MORTAR TADPOLE |
The long one would actually be useful thoughever. And the other one is a normal tad with one side closed. Not grief. |
And so the viking tad lives on |
Three sentries has got me questioning balance. |
replace metal floor with wood floor .then all we have to do is add 8 tats and BOOM PILLAGE AND PLUNDER MATEYS WE WILL CLAIM THE TREASURE FOR OURSELFES |
the long tad is cursed as hell is all i got to say |
meme tads aren't funny |
Could you try and test it? |
apparently TG code doesn't like spaces
I suck at spelling thanks Co-authored-by: XSlayer300 <35091844+XSlayer300@users.noreply.github.com>
sadly, no I can't I am physically unable to start a test game of tgmc on this computer, cant host but can mesure tiles and apparently i made it slightly shorter then the maximum of 9 tiles. at 8 tiles, so i could add a chair, and probably will. |

About The Pull Request
This adds more variety to the already growing amount of tadpoles, adding 2 new tadpoles for marine use.
The combat tad is a glass cannon, has very little in terms of defense, but can hold 3 mounted weapons, as well as having quite the range. To compensate for its increased firepower I have removed most things you would find on a tad like shutters, a flight surgeon, and a fire extinguisher, granting it less utility in exchange for its massive boost in firepower. It also is equipped with two electronic hard points, for holding deployable floodlights, as it would just be overkill otherwise..
This Tad is dedicated to bartending, featuring rich carpet, a soda and drink dispenser, a booze-o-mat, a beer keg, and common bartender commodities including a double-barreled sawn-off shotgun for when Xenomorphs are not coming to drink. also comes with alternate bartender outfits.
This is my reflexive action to the threat of deletion. I have added 2 cade lines to prevent tables from being jumped over by runners, all you need to do is wire them and you will have a runner-free cooking tad, it will still function as intended. But also, will be a strong defensive point. I may also add metal cades to the windows, but I haven't had too many problems with them being destroyed. Also updated the food tad with a grill, as the griddle didn't work, who doesn't like stake.
Why It's Good For The Game
More variety for POs to do interesting/entertaining things with the tads, i also felt the kitchen tad was lacking in facilitating a proper bar, so I made an entire tad dedicated to it based on the kitchen tad. I have also recently seen MJP's attempts to get rid of the tad so to save these tads from being iced, I am making them more combat viable, in hopes of preventing these tads from going extinct.
