Just saw that @netaisllc tweeted me about this, thanks! Would be super honored to get invited, @jerodsanto , I'll be hoping for it over here. ;) All sorts of fun things to chat about, everything from distributed systems (peer-to-peer, CRDTs, CAP Theorem, and other jargon-loaded words that need to be demystified) to the social aspect of running a VC backed open source company and creating encouraging/diverse communities. But to be perfectly honest, a lot of the subjects I like to talk about are way boring compared to some of the projects people are doing with gun: machine learning on realtime data, multiplayer VR games in the browser, IoT dataviz webcomponents, encrypted self-hosted electron/react-native social networks, etc. ! |
@netaisllc ok, we'll bite. 💚 @amark please email editors@changelog.com and we'll talk details. |
@jerodsanto excited to hear! Will email you soon! Thanks. |
This show is now live! 🎉 https://changelog.com/podcast/236 Thanks, y'all! 💚 💚 💚 |

Hi guys,
It's been awhile since I suggested a guest (perhaps still smarting from Jerrod's 'shotgun approach' zinger...), but this is an interesting one. Mark Nadal is leading the new OSS project Gun (I didn't name it.)
What? But the real reason to talk to Mark is to explore his deep and passionate commitment to 'democratizing' (his word, not mine) data. Own your data, go serverless. He is quite articulate.

Consider it guys... This one will get the haters really engaged.
