TwiGI (pronounced twi-gee-eye), is a minimalistic Twitter interface for lame phones and browsers without Javascript.
As skinny as a skeleton, as old-fashioned as a dodo, but it could even tweet from my old phone (see photo), and that’s something us 3 rd worlders find handy. New features will be added whenever procrastination is called for :)

What is it good for? just guessing here ;)

  • If you have lousy bandwidth for your phone or you pay for its data connection by volume
  • If you use an RTL language and your phone can’t deal with it (quite rare today, but 3 rd world is full of surprises)
  • If you want “vanity via” text+link for your tweets (example)
  • If you’re looking for an example of short python code that does OAuth and basic Twitter functionality, using the tweepy library
  • You tell me
