I'm a computer science doctoral student at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
I have a strong technical background in multiple disciplines of CS, including work in machine learning β¨ (TensorFlow, SKLearn), data science π¬ (Pandas, MatPlotLib, SQL, Snowflake, TDV), business informatics π (Domo, Spotfire, Statistica), webdev π» (React, Django, Express), as well as various projects in C, C++, and Java.
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in computer science with Dr. Tao Yang at UC Santa Barbara. I'm currently focusing on improving the efficiency of information retrieval systems, as well as multilingual natural language processing.
Previously, I worked at the Soundbendor Lab at Oregon State University for four years, where I was advised by Dr. Patrick Donnelly. My work focused on applying machine learning to sound π΅ in the time-domain, resulting in two peer-reviewed publication π, multiple poster presentations π°, and winning university awards ποΈ for my work.
I am currently working to update my GitHub and personal website to properly demonstrate the skills that I've acquired. Stay tuned for updates.
