Collection Data

Collections are used to group stories together according to author, genre, TV series, etc. As with stories, each collection requires a title, a date, a description, and a unique ID. Here are some rules of thumb when it comes to defining a good collection:

  • Prefer to make collections that are unambiguously defined and that do not change over time, except when new stories are made that match the inclusion criteria.
  • There is an associated list in a Wikipedia article that can be referenced. Aesop's fables and science fiction films of the 1920 are two examples.
  • There is an associated list that is published in print or available online which can be expected to persist for a long time.
