Standalone page is not working when launched through LTI

There is a check to see whther a lightbox is already open, i.e. if the current page is shown in a lightboc. This check causes a Coos Domain error when the page is NOT in a lightbox, but is in an iframe because the project is launche through LTI

Just putting a try{} ctach() block around the check (in two places) fixes this.
