The second missing feature on the dashboard is the ability to see the device "state" (Heating, cooling, etc.)

Again, notes from the other thread:

On the state viewer, I was actually thinking of doing something similar. Rather than writing it to the same graph, add a second, smaller graph below the main graph (and synchronized to it) which would display just the state info.

This is finally implemented in the tilt_refactor branch and appears to be working. This should be finished in the next release.
