Does recipes override the default model pre-processing functions in caret train #233

For a number of models there are already inbuilt pre-processing features. For example glmnet has standardize = TRUE for all variables as a default. If you provide a recipe to carets train that does not involve center and scaling, will this be overriden by the default model (glmnet) function?

No, the model arguments are unrelated to what happens in the recipe.
