+++ It seems this problem is persisting across multiple months, versions, and iOS versions. There is no button to choose the speaker. Also, it defaults to the speaker phone instead of the ear speaker. If a Bluetooth device is connected, it does not use it. If earphones are plugged into the jack, it WILL use that. What needs to be done to select the correct speaker? Also, should this issue not have the bug tag? I feel that the incorrect default speaker is a bug, but it might (also?) be an enhancement request because the user should be able to choose which speaker to use. |
Tested Siskin Beta Latest, Option Button to Switch to Phone and Speaker Available. Does not Switch to Phone. Tested over Wifi with Conversation on the Other Side. Both Type of Calls To/From same Behaviours. tested on iPhone SE 2020 IOS 14+ |
@usamad Was that a video call? or an audio call? I'm asking as I've tested this today and it worked for me and unless I'll be able to replicate the issue I'm unable to fix it. |
I have also had this issue for the past few weeks. Switching to phone from speaker does not work, audio calls remain on speaker. |
New build 7.0-b10 contains a fix for this issue. Please test if it fixes the issue for you and let us know. |
I can confirm that it is fixed! |
When making a voice call, the sound goes only through the speakerphone and there is no way to switch it to the earpiece.
