Have you had any progress on this? Still unable to make Flurl work in a PCL that targets Xamarin.Android and Xamarin.IOS.

Flurl.Http is added normally, no errors visible, and Flurl.Http is added via using statement.

However, when compiled, "The type or namespace 'Httpd' does not exist...' message is shown during compilation, and it stops.

I have not. Do you need SL5 support? If not, have you read through the referenced Stack Overflow question?

Silverlight support will be dropped for Flurl 2.0, which should fix this issue.
