This project is a stock chart price visualization. Currently, it displays data on the daily closing price of Apple (AAPL) stock from February 10th, 2020 to February 8th 2021.
This is my first project using svelte as a javascript framework for data visualization.
- line plotted, area underneath shaded
- x-axis and y-axis with gridlines
- tooltip functionality includes:
- vertical line corresponding to mouse position
- horizontal line corresponding to price value of the x-value
- Date (x) displayed at top of chart
- Price (y) displayed on right side
- initial price displayed on right side
- last price displayed on right side
- use API to pull in real stock data
- variable stock names
- variable time periods
