Every chinese characters (or full-width characters)'s width are 1.0, but every characters's width in FiraCode is 0.6, and it cannot be aligned when it has 1 full-width characters in other font (like Noto Sans Mono CJK and Noto Sans CJK) and 2 characters in FiraCode.
For example:
In notepad++ with FiraCode and fallback font Microsoft JhengHei
default
Every 6 full-width characters would be aligned with 10 half-width characters but not 12.

So can release a version of FiraCode with 0.5 width of every characters?

Well, it’s only the case for that particular chinese font, it wouldn’t solve problem in general. Also, changing character width would be lots of work which I’m not equipped to do, sorry

You may need to set secondary font in your IDE or use another font that supports cjk characters driectly like Inziu Iosevka and Sarasa Gothic.
