Tapestry AWS services

This package depends on tapestry-aws-core.

So far the only this here is a log4j Amazon SNS appender. The appender is exposed as a service so you can set levels, filters etc.
The back end of the appender is Amazon SNS. This allows people/machines to subscribe to notifications instead of hard coding them
into the log4.properties file. It's also very fast. The following instructions assume you already know how Amazon SNS works.



First create an appender in log4j.properties

log4j.appender.T1=com.trsvax.tapestry.aws.services.impl.Log4jAppenderImpl
log4j.appender.T1.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.T1.layout.ConversionPattern=[%p] %c{2} %m%n


Next add the following to your AppModule. Be sure and add your ARNs and make sure the appender names match. There
are other ways to add your AWSCredentials (see the Amazon documentation). While SNS messages are pretty cheap it's
probably best not to configure a DEGUG or INFO ARN. The services are set to eagerload so you get logging up quickly
and preventReloading is needing because reloading tries to log.

If you are using a property file you'll need to add this to your VM arguments.
    -DAWS-INI=/pathToFile/keys.ini
    
The keys.ini file contains:
accessKey=yourAccessKey
secretKey=yourSecretKey
