Setup Instructions
Thank you for installing the Chinese Support Add-on for Anki 2.
After installing the add-on from Anki 2's "Add-ons->Browse & Install" menu, there are a few more steps to follow:
- Open the "Add" window, then the note type chooses.
- Add a new note type for creating Chinese notes.
The add-on will work on any note type, provided:
- that the "汉字" button is checked
- that the note has fields called "Hanzi", "Meaning", "Reading", "Color" and "Sound".
Just type a Chinese word or phrase in the Hanzi field, and the other fields fill up automatically!
Click on "Cards" for a preview
For translation to work, you need to choose a dictionary.
