Product State After Code Review

  • Product is ready
  • Commercials were added (including GUI to edit)
  • Shopping lists are being saved, and user can load them
  • Category editing was re implemented for better experience and major bug elimination.

Team Work Conclusions

  • Not good. The team, as a team, is not functioning.

Helpful Material From The Course

  • We have used the null object in this iteration.

Conclusions And Risks

  • The product is time.
  • We have planned to have csv upload of data and offering alternative products, but instead of that we have added the option to save and load old lists

##Client Summary (summary of client meeting)

  • The product looks real good, and is very helpful while using it.
  • Now that the product is being used regularly, there are some extra items the client would like to have - a "wish list"...
  • It was good that we were able to change plans according to client's request (saving shopping lists)
  • Please view summary.

##Project Summary

  • Product durability: The product seems robust, including to input from user.
  • Team work: There were non what so ever. I doubt it if most of the team knows even knows what out GUI looks like or kept the link sent to them to our product's page.
  • Main conclusions
    1. Don't choose a platform to use just for learning it, it might be a pig in a poke. In general, I would use "Out of the box" platforms that supply quick implementation but as a black box, only for MVP. once the idea was accepted, it should be replaced to something more manageable and twikable.
    2. I would defiantly use more TDD than I have used before this project. This should even be a consideration for selecting a platform.
    3. The design patterns is a very good knowledge to have. Inventing the wheel is clever only at the first time...
    4. I am planning on using & developing this product in the future. It is a good product, and it works...
    5. The course was very practical and useful already.

Velocity

  • We have completed 11 "story points" (+ closed other issues due change of priorities)
  • there are no more user stories points to complete! Velocity
