Because of sameorigin policy of JournalTocs showing the RSS Button is broken. Nearly for good, except for the proxy variant which is pretty special.

Fist step

Disable setting in admin/settings.php
Disable display in index.php

Second step

Ponder if this feature is really useful and if not
Remove references from above file
Delete rss.php
Remove references in po files
