Introduction

A simple blinking application that demonstrates the use of the MSP430-gcc toolchain.

Hardware

Texas Instruments MSP430G2553 microcontroller
USB Type A to USB mini cable

Installation

You will need:

msp430-gcc toolchain installed on your system. You can download it here.
mspdebug to program
Texas Instruments MSP430 microcontroller to perform the demo.
