UDM Firmware Upgrades

Don Richards edited this page Sep 3, 2021 · 2 revisions

Some UDM[Pro]s may still be on an older firmware version even though automatic updates is enabled. A manual firmware upgrade is the recommended approach, and is easy to do.

As of September 3, 2021 the latest official release of UDM firmware is 1.10.0. The link contains instructions and a hash of the file, but if you want to get straight to it, simply follow these steps:

  1. SSH to your UDM, eg: ssh root@192.168.1.1 (using the IP address of your UDM/UDMP)
  2. Run the following command, depending on your type of UDM:
    • UDM: ubnt-upgrade https://fw-download.ubnt.com/data/udm/c3e8-udm-1.10.0-4946a702dc9d47fe9821052b1e26f0d0.bin
    • UDM Pro: ubnt-upgrade https://fw-download.ubnt.com/data/udm/210e-udmpro-1.10.0-6cc49445340f4896959ab66f6f1b8da3.bin
