How Releases Work

This project follows semantic versioning with minor additions

• Electron version shall not be bumped between patch version bumps (i.e. x.x.0 -> x.x.1 etc)
  • An ASAR only download option shall be provided, allowing advanced users to replace only the changed bits
• Additions relating to the features added in a minor version bump do not incur minor version bumps, instead rolled out as revisions
  • This is due to the differences in workflow on the other side of the veil and the intermittent involvement of some contributors
• We don't do "cleanup" releases. Refactoring should be rolled into the next minor version bump
