User Story

As a new OSCAL community member, I would like guidance how I may communicate/interact with the NIST OSCAL team without 'Contributing' to the OSCAL development. When I search for such information on the OSCAL pages, I do not know where to look and find out easier what meeting NIST is hosting and for which purpose.

Goals

Today, the information about engineering meetings and DEFINE meetings is available on the 'Contribute' page, but since I am not ready yet to Contribute, that is a place where I am not looking for the information I need.

Dependencies

none

Acceptance Criteria

  • All OSCAL website and readme documentation affected by the changes in this issue have been updated. Changes to the OSCAL website can be made in the docs/content directory of your branch.
  • A Pull Request (PR) is submitted that fully addresses the goals of this User Story. This issue is referenced in the PR.
  • The CI-CD build process runs without any reported errors on the PR. This can be confirmed by reviewing that all checks have passed in the PR.

At 10/12 Triage Meeting: @iMichaela where would you expect this information to be?
High Level Question: where can I contribute other than NIST meetings?
