App Not installing automatically in android 9

After Download the apk file through the app-update plugin it's not installing automatically updating in android 9 but working fine in android 8 =<
do i need to add any new permission for that ???

Hmm I have made some search and I found that your need to explicitly go inside the app and allow it to install the apk.

Hi , I have found a solution but i'm not sure that will be the greatest one in the manifest file <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.settings.MANAGE_UNKNOWN_APP_SOURCES" /> <uses-permission android:name= "android.settings.action.MANAGE_OVERLAY_PERMISSION" /> i have add these permissions after that installation worked fine....

@GowthamJadon I try to add this permission but for me doesn't work. When checkAppUpdate is called android ask the permission for Install unknown apps but if mark to allow nothing happen. Apk doesn't download. Does anyone have the same issue?
