in the package, i found some issue.
recently, gcc package was updated, but in the pkgbuild still use GCC_VER=8.1.0.

and old patch for previuos version for glibc i have no check yet

i forgot to change it after gcc updated.
now i replace GCC_VER with $(gcc -dumpversion), it will automatically detect gcc version.

i will not update this glibc-2.28 yet, i'm gonna wait for LFS book updated it first.
since glibc is core package i'm afraid its gonna break other package.

some packages build instructions has been changed.
Findutils,
Gzip,
M4.

I can provide patches for this packages

ops sorry i totally forgot about this issue. i've merged your m4, gzip and findutils PR. all thos package compiled fine with its sed command to fix build with latest glibc.

i found some other package faced error with new glibc but i found fix and patch.
these package are:
-parted
-qt5
-llvm
