Still a WIP, and with the move to github actions, it needs to be reworked. |

Have modified it to use the new github actions (instead of AWS CodeBuild as before). Still needs the CI image to be updated to work correctly. |

I've adopted the implementation of this as #258. I'm closing this in response. |

This is my attempt to resolve #168.
After this change, we will also need to update the docker image used by the CI system to include the Nitro tools.
