Looks for DYNAMIC in the wrong(?) place

The build system looks for DYANMIC as "dynamic.hpp" and not <dynamic/dynamic.hpp> where the vg build system installs it. The Makefile also ignores any CXXFLAGS trying to tell it to use -I options (or to use a different standard library, or anything else that might be needed).

Just a heads up: I very recently put the latest libbdsg in vg, and harmonized vg's Makefile to treat dynamic more like libbdsg's.
