BMV-721 Unknown Tag / Checksum Error

Hi, This is continuing on from issue #491

I've done some more debug on this

When I connect the Ve.direct USB, dmesg shows the normal things

However I keep seeing a checksum error on the ve.directUSB0 logs, likely do the the below TAG issue ?

I've swapped the port on the pie and ve.direct cables many times between the working MPPT and the non working BMV

Running Venus V2.33 on the PIE 3b
Run firmware v4.01

Hi, we tried, and we can't reproduce this. There are indeed some (or many) errors in the log when running v2.33; but those (a) harmless and (b) different errors than what you copied above.

They're solved in v2.40.

If you keep having issues, then have your BMV replaced.

I'm closing this issue, as there appears to be no bug or software todo.
