Background
After discussing with @Pessimistress, we've decided not to release version 8.10 for production since it was mainly for testing widgets. Instead, we've included 8.10 changes in the v9 release, focusing on features ready for production.
I've reviewed the 8.10 alpha changelog and the 8.9 changelog to determine which updates should be documented in the v9 changelog. Our goal is to ensure clarity and accuracy in our release notes, avoiding duplication of changes already released in 8.9.
Once I've finalized the v9 changelog, I'll update the GitHub release notes accordingly.
