fwiw, I've been using mutter 40.3 with GNOME on wayland via xbps-src for a few weeks now and haven't had issues. I needed it for a drawing tablet fix. Haven't had any issues, but all I did was update the version/checksum.

Thanks for the feedback. The only important changes are bumping the version and fixing the checksum, other changes don't do anything.
