the old regex failed if the number was surrounded by a link, like here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/voxpupuli/puppet-nginx/master/CHANGELOG.md
this is tested with @afisher: https://gist.github.com/alexjfisher/0b2167375822d57d2fcff03613beb91d We need to escape the dots, otherwise the engine interprets it as regex control char

This got tested in our 0.4.0 release for nginx
