Using the "Save as XHTML 5 (Source)" with Firefox 19, observed most recently on https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/IndieUI/raw-file/tip/src/indie-ui-events.html but have seen on other Respec-based documents as well.

When I output a doc from respec, some of the

elements have 0="" attributes added to them. These are not present in the original source. They do not appear in the same place each time, but a few show up each time I try to output a doc. Of course this breaks validation.

This appears to be a bug with Firefox, all that ReSpec outputs is the list of attributes that it was given. I've added code to defend against this, but I can't guarantee that the problems isn't deeper.

The better solution, as usual, is to not use XHTML.
