I'm trying to publish a W3C Working Group Note and pubrules flagged the following ReSpec-generated text issues:

  1. Validation error: "text/css" was not added to the first STYLE tag in the document.
  2. Document Metadata: The W3C style sheet should be http://www.w3.org/StyleSheets/TR/W3C-WG-NOTE. It is currently http://www.w3.org/StyleSheets/TR/W3C-NOTE.
  3. Title/Date: No appropriate document status found within h2. Did find the following: "W3C Note 28 June 2012", expected "W3C Working Group Note 28 June 2012".
  4. Document Status Section: Both check Find a batch option #11 and check Use eventing for progress and communication #12 fail, but I can't figure out why... (document stability and patent policy statements).

Everything else seems to work fairly well.

Hey Manu,

problem 1 I definitely fixed two releases ago (which is to say yesterday around noon, EU time ;-)

Problems 2 and 3 sound like something familiar — can you point me to the document in question? Any chance you would be using specStatus=NOTE instead of WG-NOTE? (yeah, it's confusing — but it's not my fault!)

For problem 4 I can't guess without seeing the doc. I know that copyrightStart tends to trip bits of the checker, but I need to see the specifics to help here.

Hey, I just committed two fixes for the headers — two stupidly small punctuation marks were astray (not sure how that happened...). I don't know if it'll solve all your problems, but it'll surely help.

As far as I can tell the latest drafts I made all passed pubrules.
