This section contains a definition for "typographic character", a concept taken from or at least shared with CSS3 Text. The CSS text talks about grapheme clusters. Should this reference at least mention the relationship?

I think we should just link directly to CSS3 Text for the definition. @Tavmjong, What do you think?

I don't think the text needs to be changed. There is already a link to the CSS3 text definition. I wouldn't want to just link to the CSS3 spec as it makes reading the SVG spec more difficult.

Discussed during today's telcon.

@Tavmjong is going to clean up the definitions in the text chapter to make it clear that the normative definition is in the CSS spec, but that we're providing a little information to make understanding the SVG spec easier.
