I really like this game. Have been a long-time fan (since first release) and would be really keen on collaborating with someone who knows about java (just to guide me for a bit) and maybe watabou could add it to the original game. Spanish is my native language and any contribution I could make to this piece of art would be an honour (of course, for free).

Contact me through: josegustavochico@gmail.com (because I don´t usually visit GitHub)

For translations I suggest using crowdin.net or transifex.com or similar service, so that translators get easy-to-use interface and you can maintain the translations (find the missing translations, update on new build, etc.)

Both crowdin.net and transifex.com are free for open source projects.

I don't know exactly how the translations services works and we certainly have to provide files localization before. But PixelDungeon isn't written for this purpose right now. I'm trying to implement this feature has a first contribution in my fork and will contact you when something could be used :)

@ajira86 Hi! What's the status on that contribution? I could translate the game in Dutch. You can email me at roemerbakker@me.com

Nothing new yet, will have to wait I guess! Didn´t try to ask Watabou though...

@tavocello You're right. I quickly Googled how multi-language works on Android (don't really have a lot of Android dev experience) and it doesn't seem to be very hard so I might try it myself and create a pull request.

Wow, that´s great! It recently went open source so all the data is in the proyect feed. If that works out for you, please tell me... Thanks!

I'm working on an personal andrdoid game from scratch to train myself before posting more here. The Android way for translation is nice but @watabou didn't follow this and we will to extract all text strings from the code to permit an easy translation.

That looks kind of hard... But ill look for aternatives online in the meantime (maybe some program that helps detect and extract the text strings)

@ajira86 Exactly right. I'll be happy to help with your game to gain some experience myself 😄

Anything happening? Mods and desktop version were released so...

@tavocello It seems the guy from issue #10 is being more successful in internationalizing the game

thanks @jgpacker ;)

PS: The translation of the entire game was performed manually, without the use of tools, which normally distort some information.
Virtually all sentences, names, and information have been tested, and there are still some details to be adjusted to a final release.
