CLI Not Changing Input on LG

I can change my LG's monitor's input with BetterDisplay. But, when I try using the CLI, the monitor cuts out like its changing inputs, but does not.

Here is the command I am using:

\betterdisplaycli set --name="LG HDR WFHD" --feature=ddc --vcp=0xF4 --value=0x91

for the 'value' I tried using the same values that are used in the settings, but I no luck.

My monitor's model is 34WN650.

I see you are trying to use the Alt mode for Input Select. In this case use ddcAlt instead of ddc as not only the vcp value but the communication is different as well.

This should probably work:

betterdisplaycli set --namelike=wfhd --ddcAlt=0x91 --vcp=inputSelectAlt

Had to do this again, but is there something I am doing wrong with the code below?

betterdisplaycli set --namelike=LS49AG95 --resolution=5120x1440

This is for the Samsung Odyssey G9. I can change the resolution on the BetterDisplay app, but the CLI doesn't seem to work

Nvm. I used the code below instead to get it to work

do shell script "/opt/homebrew/bin/betterdisplaycli set -namelike=LS49AG95 -displaymodenumber=372"

However, I am still having trouble getting the LG Monitor mirror the Samsung Display when the input on the LG is HDMI 2, but used as an extended display when it is on HDMI 1. I would appreciate your feedback.

Hi there - I Don't see why betterdisplaycli set --namelike=LS49AG95 --resolution=5120x1440 would not work if that resolution is available.

Regarding the mirror, I am not sure I understand the question. :) You need help with a CLI option to mirror a display?

Not sure either, but I'm glad i was able to use the displaymodelnumber.

I got the mirroring to turn on and off. Using Keyboard Maestro, I created macros to mirror the LG to the G9 when I change the input to HDMI 2 and to turn it off when I change to HDMI 1.

LG Switching to HDMI 2

I then added them to my StreamDeck! =)
