Stream Virtual Screen

I have created a virtual screen, have the iPad connected but BetterDisplay does not allow me to stream the contents of the virtual screen onto the iPad, I've tried a different iPad even, no joy. Any ideas? Thanky

A common mistake is to connect it using Universal Control instead (so the mouse can go over, but this is not the same as using the iPad as a second screen for the Mac).
