Wayfair plugin version 1.1.2

Note: The information herein reflects changes since the last full release of the plugin, version 1.1.1.

Availability

This release will soon be available for installation from the plentyMarketplace. Please read the user guide for installation instructions:

Fixes

  • Inventory synchronizations were failing with "Internal Server Error" when attempting to send all inventory at once.

    • Inventory updates are now allocated and sent in portions, to limit the strain on system resources.

    • All inventory updates are now sent in "DIFF" flavor instead of "TRUE_UP" flavor.

  • Documents (Shipping Label, Packing Slip) were often missing or empty - #10.

  • The "save" button on the "Settings" page of the Wayfair Market's settings was behaving inconsistently. Its performance has been improved.

  • "Full Inventory" page of Wayfair Market's settings was not behaving as expected - #37.

  • The "Default Shipping Provider" setting existed, but did nothing in version 1.1.1 of the plugin. It has been removed from the plugin in this release. The shipping provider for an order will be selected according to the Plentymarkets system's configuration, which may include automatic assignment of the 'WayfairShipping" profile.

  • The "Stock Buffer" setting existed, but was not applied correctly. In this release, it applies to each inventory amount sent from Plentymarkets to Wayfair - #50.

  • Inventory sent to Wayfair only reflected one Warehouse per Item Variation. In this release, all Item Variations that are eligible for listing on Wayfair will have their stock from every Warehouse sent to Wayfair. If multiple Plentymarkets Warehouses are assigned to the same Wayfair Supplier ID, the inventory amounts across the assigned Warehouses will be reported in aggregate for the Supplier ID - #51.

  • Communications with Wayfair were failing after the user changes their Client ID / Client Secret, requiring a wait for an authentication token to expire - #64.

  • Over 15 security issues have been resolved by updating the project's dependencies.

Recurring issues of note

(These issues were also found in release 1.1.1)

  • Incoming order items may be assigned to a Warehouse that lacks correct inventory - #92.

  • The supplier must perform the initial "full" inventory synchronization manually as there is a 24 hour delay after plugin deployment - #119

  • Failure of a "partial" inventory synchronization may delay an Item Variation's inventory synchronization until the next "full" inventory synchronization is completed - #86.

New issues in this release

  • The Settings page may have an error when saving (#140)
