Currently to diff two files, I need to open two files, switch to the Diffing panel, select file A, and finally select B. It quickly becomes tiresome if I need to do diffing a lot. Is there another way to do this in a more streamlined fashion? If not, can we have a new command line option that takes two file paths and directly diffing them?
How will this feature be useful to you and others?
Saves a lot of clicking and time.

I can provide a PoC for this feature or am willing to work on it myself and submit a PR
