[Bug] Application freezes on startup after a crash

What's the issue you encountered?

App crashed while evaluating a pattern. Can't interact with the app after restart.

Quick Settings popup seems to be frozen half-way the animation

How can the issue be reproduced?

1. Run a pattern
2. While the pattern is running open Settings window.
3. Application crashed after some time while I was looking (not changing) at the settings.
4. Launch the app again.
5. It shows the splashscreen, but when the main window is shown you can't interact with the GUI. You can't press buttons or move the window. You can exit by Alt+F4

Can you recommend a way to clean the settings? I can't use the app and re-installing it does not help.

Interesting! Could you send me your config file before deleting it?
Everything is stored under %localappdata%/imhex. You can delete the the config/settings.json file in there, that will make ImHex regenerate it.

Might have found the issue. bad37d0 fixed an issue when doing things with the custom folder settings page. If ImHex crashed with the settings open, it will re-open them again next time so that might have triggered the bug
