[Feature] Make Enter enter ASCII editing mode instead of hex editing mode if ASCII column is selected

What feature would you like to see?

Allow Enter (or whatever is bound to enter editing mode) to enter ASCII editing mode if the ASCII column is currently selected.

How will this feature be useful to you and others?

Enter always entering hex edit mode, even if the ASCII column is selected, seems to be inconsistent with the fact double clicking will go to either hex edit or ASCII edit depending on which area is selected. It's also much easier to type, make a new selection with arrow keys, then press Enter to start editing ASCII again than having to select and enter ASCII editing mode with the mouse.
