Q: Since the modpack is for beginners, is it too easy?

a: No. It's actually quite challenging. You will be killed -- and often. The beginner difficulty is really associated with modded minecraft knowledge level needed to play. Many modpacks require hours of watching youtube videos just to understand how to do things. This modpack does not.

Q: The modpack was updated, do I need to restart?

a: No, but you still may want to if there are changes you want. Since this modpack is MAP based -- a restart is the only way for any MAP changes to be present in your world.

Read the changelog for the release. If there is a major fix to the MAP then you MAY need to restart if I completely broke a release. It will say so in the changelog. REQUIRED restart means yes -- it will say what versions were broke. I do everything I can to avoid requiring this.

Q: Can I run it with x RAM?

a: Probably -- let me know if it works. Minimum suggested is 4GB

Q: Is there a Server Pack?

a: Yes

Q: Is there a public server?

a: Sometimes -- go to the #events discord channel.

Q: Can I play with more than 4 players?

a: Yes. However -- things can get a bit out of hand if players are not working together co-op. Early players can grief / loot key areas making it very difficult for later players

Q: In Multi-player, does each player get their own map?

a: No. Multiplayer is considered to be cooperative. Due to the nature of how the map was created for this modpack -- it is not possible for each player to get their own map without a complete redo of modpack. I'm not interested in doing that.

Q: Can I use Optifine, shaders, resource packs?

a: Using these might uncover hidden blocks or cause render glitches esp. when using portal gun. However, if you are ok with these minor issues then yes.

Q: How do I play with Hardcore Mode

a: You have to use an NBT editor like NBTExplorer to do that. level.dat > Data > hardcore (change value to 1 and save)

Q: Can I play in Peaceful difficulty?

a: Yes and No. It's cheating. You will not be able to Level up or get access to certain resources (see Deep Mob Learning in JEI) in peaceful mode. So you will get stuck at some point.

Q: How can I enter creative mode?

a: That is cheating. Don't cheat yourself. If it is required to correct an issue you can open the world in LAN mode with cheats enabled.

Q: Can I stream the pack on Twitch, post videos on YouTube, etc... of this pack?

a: Yes, please do. I'd like to hear about it but not required.
