wormgas -- Discord bot for Rainwave

wormgas is a command-processing Discord bot that enables using many Rainwave features from Discord. It requires Python 3.9 or higher.

The core bot requires the discord.py library >= 2.0.0. Some extensions do have other dependencies:

• The chat extension requires stemming
• The wiki plugin requires wikipedia

The chat extension is powered by cobe, but this dependency is bundled.

Link a reaction emoji to a role

1. Create a new role and copy the role ID
2. Select an emoji that you want to link to the role
3. Send the following DM to wormgas: !set discord:roles:notify:<emoji> <role-id>

For example:

!set discord:roles:notify:🎵 874722421209436211

Now, when someone reacts to the notification signup message with this emoji, wormgas will add them to the new role.
