For me, Wisp is more than a secure digital currency. Wisp is a community of people who share goals motivated by ideals instead of money. Wisp is project that everyone can be involved in. Wisp is the embodiment of my dream of complete financial control for individuals. Too many projects focus on their price instead of the product itself and often compromise their ideals for that purpose. This ends with a half functional, over priced product, which the world is already full of. Wisp is the difference I've looked for since I got into crypto. Wisp maintains focus on the product and the ecosystem that uses it. Wisp holds the ideals of complete privacy, decentralization and technology first. This is the core of the project and maintained with an almost extremist attitude. In a world driven by money, everyone has the right to be in complete, private control of their finances. The Wisp project will protect that right.

The concept of WISP, as I've come to watch it form and understand it, is why I originally decided to pursue crypto currencies in the first place. I saw a method by which communities could retake their financial freedom collectively and actively. Though I found many becoming enticed with the potential for fiat profit I was fortunate enough to be a part of the initial group of people who decided to begin steering a project towards a truly private and decentralized ecosystem away from fiat, reminding me to not compromise my core beliefs. I realize that the goals of the project are lofty and are contrary to a lot of current world-views but I genuinely see potential for the concepts put forth by Satoshi to be exacted by the active few that wish to see the power of trade returned to the hands of the public and moved away from the current centralized system that is controlled by a relatively small group of people who have established power through belief in their system. I hope for WISP to grow in concept in a similar fashion (belief) so that privacy and decentralization can be taken seriously by the masses returning power to the people at large so that we can grow outside of the confines of financial slavery and re-secure the rights to privacy that we are rapidly losing under our current climate. The concept of WISP moves far beyond a currency and there are many who seek the ecosystem that we hope to be a front-runner in establishing. I look forward to watching this group form with hopes of creating a better future that is controlled by everyone.
