I have written to JAXA confirming we can go ahead - I have proposed entry 520 for now. TANSO-FTS is 516, and 517 to 519 are already taken.

JAXA confirm that this is in line with their view. So please go ahead and use entry 520 in CCT C-8

I have passed this to the CGMS Group and asked for their feedback by 20 November.

For consistency with OSCAR, should it be TANSO-FTS/2 instead of TANSO-FTS2?

@amilan17 JAXA seem to call it TANSO-FTS-2. See here https://www.eorc.jaxa.jp/GOSAT/GOSAT-2/fts2.html

Harris call it the same thing. See here

Let's see what the CGMS Team thinks!
