Der String sollte vor der Zuweisung zu $this->user auf für SQL-Statements ungültige Zeichen (insbesondere Hochkomma) getestet werden, so dass im SQL-Statement in setRemoteUser keine SQL-Injection möglich ist.

Der Fehler dürfte damit behoben sein.
