Canvas fingerprinting is a new technology to identify a unique browser without cookies or any other local storaging technology.

This project was started by Herbert Braun and featured in c't Magazin 18/2014. It is just a simple proof-of-concept for those interested in how canvas fingerprinting works and not precise enough to reliably track users.
