Firebase config missing from ecosystem documentation

When following the documentation to deploy the ecosystem (https://wwwallet.github.io/wallet-docs/docs/development-environment-setup/getting-started) the environment seems to build successfully.
When starting the wallet however an error is thrown

"Installations: Missing App configuration value: "projectId" (installations/missing-app-config-values).
FirebaseError: Installations: Missing App configuration value: "projectId" (installations/missing-app-config-values)."

It seesm like ./wallet-ecosystem/wallet-frontend/.env.template needs to be modified as described in https://github.com/surfnet-niels/wallet-frontend#installation, however this is not described in the ecosystem setup guide

By the way: what features of firebased are used in the ecosystem?
