Game Tester
Pre-Alphas are unstable versions meant to be tested privatly and to receive feedback, to look for bugs and glitches, etc. These versions aren’t to be released to the public. More info about game version: https://github.com/xavier150/MMVS/wiki/Versions
Game tester that not just start the game do a quick test and go away. If you want be Game Tester I need your time for do a lot of tests in specific contexts. Exemple:
- If I send a build to beta tester focus on the UI. I need check the all UI pages and try to break it. Found the bug and how reproduce it so I can found on my side and fix it.
- If I do a build focus on the locomotion. I need you do several jumps or switch crouch/stand up several time, all this to try to break the game locomotion, and found how reproduce the bug.
Game tester may be fun but in the most case that but it gets repetitive and mind-numbing after a while. You're not even playing the game you're just testing the same thing over and over again.
There's a lot of different ways to test the game and report the bugs. You can take screenshot, record video, write a list of bug and show how reproduce it etc.
Ok but wait:
- Game tester for MMVS it's a time-consuming and unpaid job.
- You will have to work remotely from home or a compatible computer.
- I need you to be available and take the time to test each build I send.
I hope you understand that. so be voluntary only if you can and really want to.
