This is a new major release of Xaya Core, including changes ported from upstream Bitcoin/Namecoin as well as new features built specifically for Xaya. For a list of changes, look at the 1.1 milestone on Github.

The two most important changes in this release are:

  1. A hard fork has been implemented that changes the network parameters (mainly block schedule and block reward). On mainnet, the fork will activate at block height 440,000. This is in-line with the roadmap to adjust the PoW coin supply after the finished token sale.
  2. A Xaya-specific ZMQ interface has been implemented, which will make it easier to build games on the Xaya platform and is needed for interoperability with libxayagame.

dummy tag for commits on master
This is a dummy tag so that `git describe` no longer shows everything
relative to v0.9.0rc2 just because that was the last version to be tagged
on master instead of on a branch.
You can’t perform that action at this time.
